Greetings...
(warning..i just keep rambling and rambling)
so...my short lived "slow down in the office' was very short lived. I'm being pulled in all different directions.. this is my last week of WORK!! YAY!!! no more work until September! :D
I'm working on a pork processing plant for the last couple of weeks..and lemme tell u something.
the meat industry is one of the most heavily regulated industry in Canada. On top of that...the treatment of animals is actually very very humane. There is no suffering and any animals that are, they are condemned (put to sleep) and discarded. Basically when the animals come in, they must be able to walk up a ramp in order to be processed. They have government veterinarians who are in involved in all aspects of the processing. From the moment they arrive, gutting, cutting..etc. It's actually very very interesting. after the tour (including the kill floor), i went for lunch. I can actually say i was not disturbed..but more amazed at the entire process.
Who ever said accounting is boring? :P i have been in the ocean looking at fish in a fish farm...to a warehouse full of tvs, pc boards and tires...to a pig slaughtering business. I make the most of my learning.....i get easily amused and too curious for my own good.
Nehoo this weekend, was pretty much school school school. I did the grouse grind again..in 1.25 hours an improvement of 15 minutes compared to last week. I plan to go again this Friday. I want to be able to do the grind in 1 hour. And what is the grouse grind? A mountain hike 2.9kms (1.8 miles) in total, elevation of 853 meters (2800 feet) or 2830 stairs. It is a thigh/buns burner and not to mention..great cardio for my stick straight legs and flat ass.
I ordered some items from Forever 21 and bought some Nars again.
I bought 1 dress, couple of tank tops, and several casual tops (all online as F21 isn't opening until September in metrotown).

Nars Pink Panther Cream shadow, Eden Pressed powder, sweet dreams lip gloss and victoire lip stain.

I know i will be picking up another item at Nars this Saturday...(Desire Blush or Bronzer Multiple in Malaysia). There is another Nars Event at Metrotown Bay, their national artist is coming out to do makeovers. I booked myself and my two best friends for make overs. I'll take pics then hehehe :). Each time they have these special events they have gift sets or gift with purchase....I wonder what i'm gonna buy. I have $75 Mall giftcard from work that I have been waiting to spend.

My girlfriend went to Daiso and picked me up some #14 lashes! they are sooo pretty and only $2 each! She picked me up 3 because i'm greedy like that. The best thing about the #14, is that they are short, shiny and voluminous and not obnoxious. It comes with individual glue but i prefer using my Duo glue.
My birthday is coming up...my parents are giving me birthday money which i am using to buy dinner for the family. Since busy season rolled in..i only see my parents once every 2 weeks...for like 2 hours max. My mom thinks i'm ignoring her..when really....all i do is Work, eat, schoolwork, sleep, work, schoolwork, eat, sleep...i barely see my friends and i only talk to my bf once every two days. If i was out having fun, partying or whatever..yah it's rude to NOT see my parents..but come on. i'm friggin busy with work and school. I'm turning 24 this week....but boy do i feel old old old......
Nehoo back to HOMEWORK...due Friday but I have so much revisions to do for my previous week that I'm pretty much redoing my assignments.. I'll be back with some nice photos of my Nars makeover and birthday dinner. For now here's a pic of me sunday morning (profile pic) ....filling in the eyebrows makes a WORLD of a difference eh? This will be used as a comparison for Saturday's makeover! SO EXCITED! :D the last time the national artist came..he did a wonderful job for my Work Xmas party in December.

Toodles!!!!!!
Wow oh wow.....things are beginning to slow down a bit again.
I finally get breather week (easy job) + in the office. I have so many little things to follow up.
We had our consensus meeting at work (basically our annual review). My Performance Coach informally congratulated me with a very very very good rating = bigger raise in October/November. Next year i definitely need to step it up by 1 more level to ensure i get a bigger promotion. We'll see how much i survive.... The final results will not come out until October as we need to ensure our promotions are consistent within the GVA and National. He said i had nothing to worry...sooooo what did i do to celebrate? Stopped by Mac and Shoppers Drug Mart.
I picked up:
Mac Way to Love Lipstick (almost dupe to my favourite 3N lipstick from the N collection)
Mac Sunsenational Lipstick (amazing shimmer gold/peach lipstick topped on other lipsticks)
Biotherm Hyrdradiance Foundation in 210
Biotherm Concealer in 10
Armani Remix For Her 30ml

That black vest i bought a couple of weeks ago...just about to cut the tag to wear it..lol....yah...
My sister got back from japan from a 3.5 week vacation with her boyfriend (i'm sooo jealous). I told her no makeup (as i like picking out my own items) but told her i would like some skincare (especially whitening...i dislike my freckles).
She also picked me up some cute little keychains, and this very strange amulet that i put in my car (for good luck).
She got me: Kose Softymo Super white Cleansing Cream, Kose Softymo Super White cleansing gel, Shiseido Aqualabel White lotion R/Bright White-EX, White emulsion R, Kiss Me Sunkiller SPF 50+/PA+++, and Kose Medicated Sekkisei (i have no idea how to use this...it's all japanese)

I'm bidding on a couple of items on Ebay right now...i can't wait to receive them. I got a volcom hedley, and volcom leapord print hoodie in post on the way. Volcom here is bloody expensive and we run out of small sizes. In the states volcom is dirt cheap....i plan to go down to seattle when my bf gets back from Saskatoon.
He's iching to go shopping (as i've gone twice already) to Seattle. I promised no more states shopping until he gets back in mid July. With the CAD dollar at 1.14...ohh...so tempting.
The heat wave has paused for a bit...as i haven't gone to the gynm for the last 2 weeks, i plan to go do the grouse grind, eat sushi and watch a movie with my best friend. This would be after i clean my place, do laundry, grocery shop, and finish my homework. I hope she can come over to help me organize my room haha..it's a mess!
Today, it was a workshop in the morning in the office...debrief cases with my study buddy...then spend the entire afternoon and evening with my family.
It's 11:31...Saturday and i'm such a granny..i'm gonna go to bed now...lol
LATERS!!! :)
I was getting an oil change for Boshi (my car's name) at 11. My two friends picked me up and we went to East No 1 Seafood Restaurant for dim sum. This place is cheap, fast, and good. For 3 people it came up to $21 tax and tip. That's $7 per person! so cheap!
Shrimp dumplings, black bean spare ribs, egg tarts, beef rice roll, shrimp rice roll..(my god i'm drooling just thinking about it). It was about a 10 minute wait but we got the sweeeetest spot. Right where the carts come out from the kitchen (but far enough away from the kicthen entrance where it sucks to sit cuz so many bodies go in/out). Every 5 minutes a new cart with fresh food would come out..and i had exercise size my hand waving and smiling to get the waitress to swing over the cart. It was awesome. If you were unlucky and had to sit the other side of the restaurant..to get anything good u had to walk over or else all us close-sitters would take all the good stuff. Dim sum was fast about 40 minutes total. My car wasn't ready so we went to Tinseltown to check out the "mini-daiso". Tinseltown mall is sooo friggin dead. i wonder how the developer makes any money. It's like 95% empty!
Daiso have awesome polyster $2 fake lashes. Problem is...they always run out of these really cute ones. the #14. They are shorter, fuller and cross. It's the most natural looking one. all the others have glitter, super long or just plain obvious looking.
Nehoo after a quick 40 minutes in Tinseltown..we picked up my car and headed to Richmond Center and Metrotown for shopping. I really wanted to find a pair of flats for some time. i got my aldo flats (which can be dressed up or down) for only $12 at the aldo liquidation. So i refuse to pay $50 for shit i know i can get for dirt cheap. Didn't like anything in aldo, sterling or Spring and i wasn't going to the Aldo Liquidation store anytime soon...just by chance we decided to shop at Payless. I surprisingly found a pair of Coral flats for $31 (includ tax). I had a SPC Mastercard so i got a discount :). Payless and Shoe warehouse are awesome places for shoes! I've picked up Rocket Dogs for dirt cheap and tons of leather work dress shoes for a fraction of aldo's prices and i'm a half size so...aldo can suck it!
Then at Metrotown I picked up a sweet Volcom Sweater Vest (mouthful). It's a vibrant..orangey/coral at Moana Surf. I had a bunch of Metrocards (gift cards) from work at various clients :) So it was a sweet free top! :). I didn't notice until i came home that the two things are almost the same colour. This always happens when i shop. If i like one thing..i'll keep buying it without realizing it. For example..if i buy jeans...i go on a jean spree and buy like 3 pairs...(like 2 months ago haha).

I'm a fan of Volcom. Their stuff is so vibrant..colorful and random. I find Roxy much more tame...i hope to pick up some nice graphic volcom tees next weekend. I plan to go to West 4th to check out sales. If i don't find anything..i'm heading to premium outlets to Pac Sun. they always have skater stuff for really cheap. OH yes..and the Off the Wall warehouse sale..muwahahaha
My friend went into Swimco and dropped $300 on 2 swim suits for Hawaii. She's going with her coworkers in July. she's so blessed with C/D cups..and she's like 5'2 and a 25 inch waist and a curvy thighs haha....lucky. At Swimco i noticed they had Volcom swim suits too! i sooooo want one. i really want a black one this summer with crazy designs...i think i'll wait in July when they have crazy markdowns. I have my eyes set on this volcom swimsuit at Swimco.....$129 is really high regular price. if it drops to $80. haha it's meant to be.
I'm picking up an evil ebay habit again..i'm bidding on these Sevens Straight leg jeans and Nars makeup. It's so exciting.....i feel like i'm getting a bargain..when really that money should have been saved in the bank haha. I have so many pairs of Sevens.....i dunno if i need another..we'll see. if i get them for dirt cheap..hehe i'll just pack my lunch for a week! we'll see what happens...in a few days :)
Nehoo back to SNL...i really ramble a lot. ...this post is useless without pics. but i didn't bring my camera out today..and i look like shit lately due to allergies..no eye make up..cuz my sneeze attacks and ichy eyes..ruin it all.
